Dockers now has their addition reviewed by the Wallets for Men staff. To be honest, it is not one of our favorites, but that is likely due to our style of wallets being different than others. Actually, quite popular, this wallet is a great value at under $20 and is quite comfortable. We weren’t a fan of the style, but we can’t argue with it’s feel, quality and value.

With this wallet, Nautica presents sophistication and ruggedness to your men’s leather wallet. If you are searching for wallets for men, this could be a good wallet to start with. The only downside we’ve noticed with this wallet from Nautica is that it comes out of the package quite stiff. Once age kicks in, this stiffness subsides and you are left with a men’s wallet that has great style and functionality.

Combining leather with a metal money clip gives it a solid mix of style and efficient size (versus other wallets for men). The ID slot also comes in handy as it allows you to keep hold of your essential cards easily without the indentation that you sometimes get with a normal money clip.

In fact, it not only fits 8 credit cards, but it also offers a flap that covers your ID from onlookers. On top of this, there is a duel flap compartment for your cash. The wallet is also large enough to hold your checks without folding them, which is an added bonus for those of us still carrying checks.

Straight from Italy, this slim wallet for men packs up to 6 credit cards and has an excellent soft leather. The leather is individually hand stained vegetable tanned leather giving it a great look and feel. The stitching is solid and tends to hold up well. The only potential downside of this men’s wallet is that is is limited in space versus some of the other wallets. However, this leads to personal preference — do you want more space or do you want a slim wallet?

For those of you looking for brown wallets for men, you really can’t go wrong with the J Fold Thunderbird. The leather feel of this wallet is top notch — built from 100% top grain leather. This is a mid-sized wallet, able to pack in 8 credit cards in a bifold wallet style. What we like with this wallet is the orange blend with the dark brown. The leather is soft, but not the softest of our mid-level wallet.
